I know it’s an election year and he has to be careful and they took it back and all that… but I am going to just pretend for five minutes that something was changing in our country. And that it was a positive change.

Twenty-eight years today, in the suburbs of Glenview, Illinois — the most beautiful, talented, kind-hearted, selfless, (did I mention absolutely beautiful?) man in the universe was born. No matter what the obstacles, you have always overcome them, and came out stronger in the end…you have grown to become one of those most honest artists out there, and for that, we owe you a thousand thank you’s. But that doesn’t even begin to explain you, sunshine, ~~but I have a character limit if I don’t want to obnoxiously spill my thousand word feelings,~~ if there you were more people like you on this earth, I truly, honest to goodness believe, the world would be a better place. You put others above you, always, you care about the well-being and happiness of your fans, I remember you said you make it a habit to come out after your shows, if only for five minutes, to sign autographs. What other artist would make that such a high priority? Thank you for the past ten years and here’s wishing for another hundred — whether or not those upcoming years involve a return to the stage, I will be supporting you. I wish you the most terrific birthday and nothing but happiness, health, and success in the upcoming years. I love you, Tricky, so very much. ♥
